How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Woofy account and all associated data directly from within the app. Here's how:

  1. Open the Woofy app and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the settings panel.
  4. Tap "Delete My Account".
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted. This action is permanent and irreversible.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, all of the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your user profile (name, email, preferences)
  • All dog profiles (name, breed, weight, photos, notes)
  • All health assessments and wellness scores
  • All medication and supplement tracking records
  • All weight entries and trend data
  • All photos (including lump monitoring photos)
  • All lump markers and tracking data
  • All worry logs
  • All reminders and notification preferences

Deletion Timeframe

Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. All data is permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days. During this period, the data is inaccessible and scheduled for permanent deletion from all backup systems.

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot recover your data once the process is complete.
  • If you have multiple dogs registered, all dog profiles and their associated data will be deleted.
  • Your authentication credentials managed by Clerk (Google/Facebook) are handled separately by those providers.
